Adam&Courtney//Maternity

IMG_9637 Adam and Courtney are one of those couples that, as a photographer, I have a very long history with. From their wedding to now their maternity photos and everything in between these two are such a pleasure to work with! We spent our session making our way though some cute little spots throughout Skagit. What looks to be a sunny fall day is actually the middle of January if you can believe it. it's something special to capture these moments as they transition from being a married couple and into a family. And yes nearly 5 years later they still act like newlyweds. With that natural chemistry, I have no doubt many of the images look more like engagement photos than the maternity photos that they actually are. That statement pretty much sums up most sessions I have with them: natural chemistry. In a previous session, Adam once said "I may not know how to pose but I do know how to properly kiss my Wife." In a nutshell that is how you pose because it's about capturing a moment or time in their lives to cherish forever. With February fast approaching, I can't wait to meet their little bundle of joy when he or she arrives and to continue to capture their lives as the DeVries continue to grow.
