When people think of going to Las Vegas often their first thought is going to be parties and being on the strip. Now contrary to popular thought you can go to Las Vegas and have an amazing time and it doesn't have to involve all the cliche partying. I went on a fun best friend trip to Las Vegas and it was a really really fun trip! For our first day we did spend some time on the strip, go shopping, go to a show and see the sights. I must say there is a really cool element of the city with all the lights and buildings however the best part of visiting Las Vegas is the things you can do outside of the city. We went to Nelson Ghost Town, Valley of Fire State Park, Bad Owl coffee which we found once we arrived that it was Harry Potter themed and even a Lion conservation and saw the only giraffe that lives in Nevada! Easily my favorite was the time we spent at Valley of Fire and when I return I would love to visit a few more ghost towns and Red Rock Canyon. Vegas you were lovely and until next time remember: you don't have to get sloshed to have fun in Vegas ;)
